Axis is a safe space that offers opportunities / activities for creative teenagers using our purpose built tech room and state of the art Podcasting recording/editing studio. If you are currently a member of Louisburgh foroige you can take part in all the fun activities Axis Youth Space has to offer.
We bring young people with an interest in having fun, socializing, meeting and making new friends with a keen interest to interact and improve their community through the word of STEAM, tech-space and Podcasting together..
Who are we?
Axis Youth Space is our new name for Louisburgh Foróige tech-space. We are no strangers to working with young people and we have been working with teens within our Foróige club network for many years, our members felt we needed a re brand, so after long consultation between leaders and members we came up with the name, Axis Youth Space, the world revolves around its Axis so here, the world revolves around our youth, and it does!
We are a fully registered Foróige club and we continue to follow all the usual Foróige rules and guidelines. This space is managed and run by fully trained and Garda vetted Foróige leaders so the only thing changing is the name, Louisburgh Senior Foróige = Axis Youth Space.
Activities & outings;
Activities and outings play a huge role within Axis Youth Space. We tap into a vast and growing network of clubs around the country and try to bring like-minded young people together. Social skills and person to person interaction is very important and we strive to attend and indeed host safe events for young people to enjoy.
